Questions and Answers About Soul Retrieval

Shamanic journeying is going into the unseen realms of Spirit looking for answers. Not unlike delving into a small hole or cavern, the possibilities are endless as to what I may find when I take the plunge into the Spirit world.

Sometimes I may not find what my clients were hoping for. But I will find what they need, according to Spirit. I am never in control of the journeys. I leave that up to my Spirit Guides.

I wanted to cover a few questions and answers about journeying and soul retrieval.

How do I know if I could benefit from a soul retrieval?

It is my opinion that almost all of us could benefit from a soul retrieval. We all live our lives on this earth. No one has lived in the perfect environment, with the perfect parents, the perfect situation their entire lives. Even if they had, their interpretation of that perfect life I am sure included some hurts and wounds to their soul.

As we grow as human beings and evolve in our journey to our self, sometimes pieces of our soul which were lost come back on their own. Sometimes we may have an "aha" moment and we will realize the truth of an experience that brought us pain. At that moment of revelation, the lost soul piece will come back. We may have been lied to from one parent about another. When I left my first husband, he convinced my daughter that I had abandoned her. I remember when my mom passed my daughter and I took a trip to Florida. She was looking at some old photo albums of her childhood, and I saw this look in her eye. She realized that I was not the neglectful mom she had perceived me to be. I believe at that moment a piece of her soul came back, without any ritual, without any drumming, without any shaman calling it back.

However, sometimes the pieces are not so easy to find. We may not have noticed when they left. They may have been (unconsciously) stolen away from us by another person. We may  not remember the original event. In some cases, the soul loss may have not yet occurred. (Yes I once did a soul retrieval for a person and the pieces I got back she had  not lost yet.)

Why do soul retrievals cost so much?

Ha this is one I hear a lot.

When I first became acquainted with soul retrieval, and even to this day, I have not found a shaman or practitioner who will perform a soul retrieval for less than $200 and most charge more. I think it is because a shamanic practitioner pays a great deal for training and years of practice. Kind of like I guess why do doctors charge so much. The  other reason is that people tend to value things that cost them something. Bottom line, there is an exchange of energy. You will not benefit from a session which has cost you nothing. The exchange of energy is out of whack and the soul retrieval will not be as good as it could have been had the exchange of energy been more equal. My current fee is $100 and that is negotiable depending on the situation.

You can probably find students of shamanism who will perform soul retrievals for a reduced price or for free. Kind of like going to the beauty school for a haircut. You are paying for experience. I have some wonderful students who are now doing soul retrievals and I don't ask them what they charge.

I sometimes will do soul retrievals for a reduced price if Spirit leads me. I do not want someone to go around without their soul parts just because they cannot pay to get them back. Usually there is some sort of barter involved. I don't want the recipient to be indebted to me or to Spirit.

Do I have to be in your presence to get my soul pieces back?

You will hear different information from different practitioners on this one. The woman who trained me taught me that absolutely you have to be in the person's presence. However, before I trained with her check her out here I had been doing soul retrievals on my own for friends, family, and friends of friends for several years free of charge for the most part. I had done some in person, but many I had done long distance, with verifiable results. I like to call myself the "no rules healer" in that I believe that there are no hard fast rules to anything. I recently did a soul retrieval for a client in Texas (I live in Virginia) and I blew her soul parts back into her body over the phone. Spirit does not live in time and space and so I am open to whatever my Guides tell me.

What will I feel after the soul retrieval?

Let me be the first to tell you that the after affects are as numerous as the stars in the sky.

Sometimes you feel nothing at first. A few weeks or months later you might notice that something that used to push your button no longer bothers you.

One of my clients lost twenty pounds immediately.

When my shaman teacher performed a soul retrieval on me, I swear that the grass was greener, the sky was bluer, the sun shone brighter.

When I got my soul back from Jesus, read about it here, I was an angry little bitch for at least two days.

I have had clients feel depressed for a period of time. Remember that when the soul left the body that piece of your soul left for a reason. Sometimes you will re-experience emotions that you were experiencing when you lost the soul piece to begin with.

I am always available to talk through with you the emotions you feel after the session is over. I recommend that you revisit the emotions you were feeling when the soul piece left. Welcome that part of yourself back into your body. Send him or her lots of love love love. Remind that part of yourself that the hurt is in the past and now things are better. Release with love any perpetrators or soul stealers. Accept the event as a part of your past but no longer necessary for your experience.

Of course the ultimate goal is JOY. I want you to be in your body, with all your soul pieces intact, enjoying life on this earth realm in your body. When I discovered that I  had no where to go, no where to be, nothing to accomplish really except for JOY..I reclaimed a big piece of my soul which I had always projected into the future... someday, when this happens, I will be fulfilled...
When I brought that part of my soul back into my body and said, all I need to do is experience joy now... WOW. The pressure was off! I was free!

In no way am I suggesting you have to get a soul retrieval from ME. I want you to find the healer that connects best with your soul. However, if you would like to work with me, you can contact me HERE.

Blessings to you as you embark upon the most important adventure of your life, your journey to your soul.

Soul Retrievals and Jesus

People often ask me what a soul retrieval is and how does it benefit us.

A couple of years ago, I wrote a couple of blogs explaining some of these terms. you can read about it here. In a short version, a soul retrieval is when a shaman or shamanic practitioner goes into the nonphysical world to get back pieces of your soul which you have lost during traumatic or emotionally charged events, or pieces of yourself that you have given away or lost through deep soul connections.

We are familiar with the many love songs out there which talk about giving our soul away to someone who we love. At some point the relationship may end, but our soul stays with that person.

Or possibly there was a traumatic event in your life in which you felt like a part of your disappeared, or got lost.

Have you ever had that dream where you are lost and can't find your way home? It may be a message from your soul that a part of you can't find its way back to you.

How about a belief system in which you are asked to give your soul to some Higher Power?

Yeah. About that. I know about that.

I grew up a born again Christian. The whole philosophy I grew up with was the fact that if we didn't give our soul to Jesus we were doomed to Hell. I did that. I gave my soul to Jesus. Many times. (I was afraid that the first time didn't take. I didn't feel any different afterward and thought I should have.)

Now may I interject here that I have no issues with Jesus. He and I talk frequently.

As a matter of fact, the other day, (before my recent experience with appendicitis), I was at the gym on my favorite piece of equipment, the elliptical. For some reason I find it easy to connect the the Other Realms while on that machine. I haven't figured out the why, but I am not one to argue with Spirit.

So anyway, here I am, pumping my arms and my legs on this piece of gym equipment, when the number 333 pops up on the screen in front of me. This is a sign to me that Someone Upstairs wants to talk to me. Okay like it is a phone call from the Ascended Masters..and Jesus is one of only a couple of Ascended Masters I communicate with.

So I went on up to the Upper Realms. And there is Jesus. We talked a bit about some pretty cool things, which I may talk about some other time. This is a blog about soul retrieval.

So Jesus says to me, Oh by the way, I have something that belongs to you.

OH yeah? What?

You gave me this a long time ago and I wanted to give it back to you. It is a piece of your soul.

Say what? Jesus stole a piece of my soul? NO I gave it to Him. And He wanted to give it back.

Don't you want to keep it? I protested. You probably should. I did give it to you.

No, I want you to have it back. You need all the pieces of your soul.  This is your soul. This is your life. I am always here to help you but I don't want your soul.

Really? That doesn't really fit with Christian philosophy, I protested. I thought that giving you my soul was my only way of securing salvation.

Hmmm. Jesus said. But you don't really believe that anymore, do you?

Well, no. But you are Jesus. You might know a little bit more than me.

Yes, well you know very well that what you say and what someone hears are very often two different things. A lot of the things I said were misinterpreted. So many people think they are doing themselves a favor giving me their souls. I have them all here. When they are ready I will give them back.

I think that most people think you are probably better at running their lives than they are. Maybe they are looking to you to guide them so that they don't make any mistakes. Or maybe they want to make sure they get into heaven.

Would you please tell everyone that they are doing fine. Yes I am always here to help them. I am always here to guide them. But they need their souls. I am here to show them that they can access Divine Wisdom themselves.

So there it is. I did a soul retrieval on myself while on the elliptical machine at the gym and Jesus was the one giving me my soul back.

What happened after that?

Well, to be honest, for the next couple of days I found myself being very angry, saying words I don't normally say, losing my temper, yelling at other drivers on the highway, and being a rather nasty little bitch. Hmm. I have never ever been that person. Maybe the soul part I gave to Jesus was not a very nice person. Or maybe she was just angry that she had been gone away from me for so long and had missed out on so much of my life. I did give her away at a very young age.

So after a couple of days, I finally figured out that this little nasty bitch that had come into my body needed to be comforted. I told her that I was sorry to have given her away. I told her that surely being with Jesus was not that bad that she had to act out this way.  I told her that I had a pretty good life now and that I would like her to be a part of it, but the angry part needed to be dealt with and let go.

So I did. I let go of all the anger. Anger at the things that I had believed that I had learned were not true. Anger that the things I expected Jesus to take care of He had not done. Anger that in His infinite wisdom he had realized that I needed to do some things for myself. Anger that Jesus had not lived up to my expectations. Apparently He did not like the job of making my life work. Some things I needed to do and learn for myself.

I suddenly realized that Jesus had given me the gift of myself.

I now believe that Jesus never wanted to be given our souls. He never threatened to send us to eternal damnation if we didn't. His message was one of love, and forgiveness, and acceptance. He wants us to know that we have the power within ourselves to create a wonderful life of love and happiness and joy. I know this because I live it. And Jesus is not mad at  me for taking my soul back. Hell, He is the one who gave it back to me!

I know for some of you this is dangerously close to heresy! The whole concept of salvation is in question! I say, YES! Question everything! Only keep those parts of your belief system that feel good in your soul! If you feel wonderful with Jesus holding your soul, then I am sure He is safely watching over it for you!  For me, I feel good having all my soul parts with me. Jesus is always there for me to turn to for advice or help, But the choice is mine. I believe that we are here on this earth experiencing this life not to benefit Jesus, but to benefit our own souls. Not to fight demons and win the earth back from the devil. Any devils we need to conquer are mostly within ourselves.

Let us lay down all of our thoughts and beliefs about God, and life, and really look within ourselves and feel what rings true to our souls. When we really feel joy in our existence on this earth plane, then we will know we have found the answer.

Do you sometimes feel a bit lost, or that some part of you is stuck in another plane of existence? Do you sometimes dream of being lost and can't find your way back home? Have you had a traumatic experience, when after it was over, you never quite felt the same afterward?

You may benefit from a soul retrieval! Although I prefer to do them in person, I also offer soul retrievals over the phone if you are not in my area. There are many wonderful healers who also offer this amazing healing experience. Find the healer that rings true to your soul, and go looking for those lost pieces of your self. We are meant to be whole, happy, and present in our bodies and in our life on this earth plane,

You can contact me on my WEBSITE and let's get started finding YOU.

Soul Loss

Anytime someone says I have never been the same since a certain event and they don’t mean this in a good way soul loss has probably occurred. ~ Sandra Ingerman

Soul loss is when you give away or lose a piece of yourself, or your soul. This often occurs at traumatic events such as the loss or ending of a relationship, an accident, an illness, the death of a loved one. At some point in time a part of yourself detached from the rest of you and either stayed with someone else or went into the non physical world and became trapped there.
Often soul loss occurs when an important relationship does not continue or does not occur the way you would prefer it to occur. Many times we give parts of our soul away to people or even animals that we love. When that object of our love either dies or ends the relationship, we lose that part of our soul. It is so important to have all the pieces to our soul in order to be a healthy, functioning human being. The idea that we are incomplete without that other person in our life is completely unhealthy!! In order to have and maintain positive, healthy relationships, it is so important to retrieve all the pieces of ourselves which over the years we have lost or given away.
It is also possible for a part of our soul to be stolen by someone when they desire a relationship with us in a way that is not healthy or reciprocated. If you constantly find yourself thinking about someone with whom you do not have a healthy relationship, then that person probably has a piece of your soul or  you have a piece of theirs.

I have found pieces of souls also attached to locations. If a traumatic event occurred in a location, then it is very possibly that someone lost a part of their soul that has gotten stuck in a location. Also, if there is a place that someone really loved, then it is also possible their soul stayed there. Often hauntings happen because pieces of souls have remained in a particular location. It doesn't always mean that there is a spirit that has not crossed over. It could be the soul of someone who has crossed who left a piece of themselves behind or it could be a piece of a soul who is still alive!!

If you feel you have lost a part of your soul or that someone has knowingly or unknowingly stolen a part of your soul, you can get it back!! If you know who has it, it is not difficult to contact that person's soul and ask for it back. If you need help doing this, I often do sessions to retrieve lost pieces of souls. Many times they do not realize that they have given a piece of themselves away or that they are not whole.

Here are some signs that soul loss has occurred or that someone may have a part of you that you need back:

You feel like sometimes you are not all there, like part of you is somewhere else.

You find yourself thinking about someone constantly with whom you may or may not have frequent contact.

Inability to stay present

Feeling fuzzy or detached from everyday life

Forgetfulness

Now if you have any of these symptoms, it does not necessarily mean you have soul loss, but it is a possibility. It is important that you have and maintain all the parts of your soul so you can live a full and rewarding life. Once I even recovered some soul parts for a client who later told me that the scenes I saw in my meditation did not occur until two years later!! It appears that I did a soul retrieval in advance of the soul loss. This is a concept that is difficult to understand but when the events actually occurred, then she remembered the soul retrieval and was grateful that the Universe knew in advance what she would one day need. It also tells us that when we are in a session with a healer and we do not understand the things that come up,just wait. In time we may understand the significance.

You can start the healing process by contacting me or a shamanic practitioner who will recover these lost pieces of your soul. Or if you are a seasoned meditator, it is possible to recover parts of yourself on your own.

It just makes sense that in these times we need to be whole in order to experience our lives to the fullest and be at peace. Let us look outside of our realm of understanding and reach for the best possible life we can achieve.
