Baseball Game

I mentioned in my previous blog that I had noticed an energy shift. It seems I have gotten my "mojo" back. I have more energy, I am exercising more, and I am getting more messages than usual.

After I posted this blog, I had the privilege of communicating with others who are also noticing a shift. Some are experiencing a more positive aspect of the shift, and some are noticing a more challenging aspect of this shift.

Let me encourage you that however you are experiencing the shift is exactly what you need to experience at this time. We are all experiencing the shift in different ways. Some will not notice a thing.

In my case, one of the things I am noticing is a thinning of the veil between our physical reality and the "other" side.  My communication with various Deities is increasing. In the next few blogs, my intention is to relay some messages I have been receiving from Spirit since this time of the shift.

Relating to the shift, the message I received today was the analogy of a baseball game. There are some who are waiting in line to come up to bat. There are some who are out in the field. There is one person who is pitching the ball, one who is shortstop, one on first base, and so on. Then there are the fans who are sitting out in the stands.

Many of us find ourselves to be like the ones who are standing in line waiting to come up to bat. We are impatient for our "turn." We want our place in the spotlight. All eyes are on us. Some times we may come up to bat and may hit a home run. Sometimes we may strike out.

The message was that each of us has a place in the big scheme of things. Don't get discouraged when you strike out. Don't wish to be the pitcher if you are on third base. We all have our jobs to do.

There was a particular message directed to the spectators.

Sometimes we may find ourselves in the stands watching the "players" interact with one another. The Guides said that we as spectators have an important job to do. As we watch world affairs, and the world "players" interacting with one another, we as spectators can affect the outcome just by our thoughts and intentions. It is an important aspect of our job as "lightworkers" to affect the world events with just our positive thoughts, prayers and intentions toward those who are on the field "playing" the game. Each person on the field has a particular job. The players may be our President, and the other world leaders. We as spectators should make it a habit to send love and light to all the players on the field, whether we like them or not.

In our journey through this lifetime, we may find ourselves in different positions in the game at different times. Just like in a real baseball game, there are innings, and the players switch from hitting the ball to playing out in the field, so it is with our lives. At times we may be the one up to bat. At times we may be the pitcher, or the person on third base. Sometimes we may be playing the outfield. Know that whatever your particular job is in the game, it is important. Your interaction with the other players is important. When it is your time at bat, your Guides and Angels are in the stands, cheering you on. They will never interfere with the way you are choosing to play your game, but they will always be there to encourage you and support you as you go through the game of your life.

If you find yourself in the outfield, don't wish to be the pitcher. Know that your place in the game of life is important and no less important than any of the other players. Know your strengths. Know your weaknesses. Know that you are important. Even if you are the person holding the bat for the person getting ready to come up to bat, your job is important.

Don't take life too seriously. Have fun. It is all just a game. We are all in this together.

If you are interested in receiving a personal message from Spirit, I am available to relay these messages by phone, skype, email, or even in person if you live in my area. I use various methods to receive these messages. This particular message came forth today while I was teaching my tarot class during a meditation to connect with a card.

Anyone who has connected with me know that it is always a surprise to see what Spirit has in store. Sometimes I am giving a message from the Guides and Aunt Mary from the other side shows up. Sometimes I am connecting with Aunt Mary and your personal Guide shows up. Sometimes I am doing a shamanic healing and I will see a vision of a tarot card to give me a message about something this particular person needs. I always leave it up to the Highest Guides to direct my sessions.

If you are interested in having a personal session, you can contact me here. We will decide what is best for  you, and go from there. I look forward to connecting with you!

Energy Shift

At first I thought it was just me.

When the new year turned over, I experienced a shift.

Last year, although it was a great year in many respects, I found myself tired. All the time. My  normal almost compulsion to exercise disappeared. I had to force myself to exercise. I wanted to sleep a lot. Other normally healthy body functions were affected as well. I gained a little weight.

I attributed this lack of energy and zeal to the onset of menopause.

This year, it seems I woke up again. I am running again. The extra pounds are slowly coming off. I feel more energetic.

We all have themes for the year. We all have a tarot card that is our theme. This year my card is the Chariot.
The chariot card is all about moving forward despite obstacles. As you can see in the car the man driving the chariot is looking straight ahead despite the fact that the ones supposedly pulling the chariot are sitting down and looking in opposing directions. However, traditionally this card symbolizes movement.

I guess it is no surprise that I would have gotten my mojo back. Yes I feel more energetic despite the throws of menopause.

Then I began to notice that others were noticing a shift in their energetic field as well. Some felt it in their physical bodies, as I did. But others have come to me with questions regarding seemingly out of the blue changes in their soul realm.

I have had the privilege of retrieving lost pieces of people's souls who would have never come to me for assistance in the past. I have at least one client who stopped his drinking habit overnight. People who have formerly laughed or doubted the work I do are now coming out of the woodwork for assistance.

Is this just a coincidence? I  think not.

I have been doing some reading of other intuitive's thoughts on the current shift and some are feeling this shift as well. Some call it "the ascension," a "new age" term that kind of resembles the Christian's term "the Rapture." It is when the souls of earth travelers suddenly decide to evolve to a higher level of consciousness. Not all souls will decide this. There is always the aspect of free will involved, but I am finding that a number of people are finding that things they used to find enjoyable are no longer so enticing. Suddenly they find themselves interested in spirituality. Suddenly they are finding that negative or destructive habits or patterns are losing their appeal.

For myself, I am finding that once again I am enjoying exercise. I am drinking less diet soda, my chosen addiction. (don't judge me, we all have our addictions!!) My clothes seem to be starting to fit again, although I still have some work to do. I am drinking more water.

If you have not noticed a shift in yourself, don't judge yourself! Our souls are all evolving at a different rate. Perhaps this is not the time for you.  Perhaps you have already done most of your soul's evolution, and you are now assisting others to evolve. Perhaps you still have some inner healing work that needs to be done.

We are all evolving from the inside out. I tell my students not to "try" so hard. When you no longer need an addiction, it will go away without so much work. When your soul heals, then the things that have held you back and caused you grief in the past will no longer have a hold on you. Love yourself. Our thoughts and attitudes about ourselves are the first and foremost indicators of our inner healing process.

I can't tell you that you are just going to wake up and feel differently tomorrow. That you are no longer going to want that cigarette or that piece of chocolate cake, or even that drink or other chosen addiction. I do want to tell you that if you focus on loving yourself and doing those things which make you laugh and give you joy, then the path seems easier.

For some, you will find you  may wake up sometime in the near future and just want something different than you did the day before. Maybe you will want to take a class or get attuned to Reiki. Reiki is a powerful healing tool and those who are attuned to it find that they begin to change from the inside out a lot easier than those who are not attuned to it.

Be gentle with yourself. But expect change. If you are even reading this then you have some interest in spirituality. It is not by chance that you have happened upon this blog.

You can contact me if you are interested in tuning in to Spirit and igniting that switch that will bring on the changes you desire. I would love to be of service.

For today, expect wonderful. Expect change. Love yourself. Do something nice for someone else. Get out of your head and into your heart. Be thankful. Laugh.

Our primary purpose is to love life and to have joy. Once you have that down, it becomes so much easier. Now get out there and love deeply.

Today's Message From the Tarot - Two of Wands

Today's card is the two of wands. Here we see a man holding the world in one hand and his staff, or wand in his other hand. Behind him is his other wand secured to a wall behind which he stands as he looks out into the unknown. The sky is blue and he looks over a lush landscape and a beautiful body of water.

This card is all about adventure. This man has everything he needs, but he feels trapped behind a wall of his own making. He is dressed well and from appearances he seems to be doing well for himself. But it is not enough. This man longs for the unknown.

The message for today seems to be to get out of your comfort zone! Do something out of the ordinary! Find adventure! The world is at your fingertips, but don't stand behind a concrete wall of security and familiarity! Do something different!

If you are trying to manifest change in your life, this is a wonderful card to meditate on! Look at how this man is gazing out into a vast, open and inviting landscape. It does not appear that the landscape is overly inhabited. The security of his home and his life that he has built for himself is stifling him. He is ready for something new!

If you are ready for something new, then do something you would not ordinarily do! It can be something simple, like drive to work on a different route than the one you normally take. Eat something different for breakfast. Brush  your teeth after you take your shower instead of before. The Universe will notice the shift and begin to shift other things in  your direction as well!

Then when you get a little braver, then take a bigger step. If you are looking for romance you might join a club, or even an online dating site. If you are looking for a new career you might check out the newspaper or start researching getting some education in a different field. Baby steps. You don't have to quit your job and move to another state right away. Or maybe you do. This card is all about looking beyond what you would normally do, say or be.

Today if you are contemplating change in your life, the Universe is telling you to move beyond what is stable and comfortable and take a risk!

There is an alternative message here that I think is worth mentioning.

I was doing a reading for a woman recently who was trying to choose between two men and this card came up for one of the men. At first I thought that it was a good card for this man, that he was looking beyond what he had always been and trying to do more for himself. But in this particular case it was the man with whom this woman had been married and separated a number of times. I realized that in this particular case this card meant that this man was always going to be looking elsewhere for something new and adventurous. He was never going to be satisfied with what he had, but would always be a wanderer, and that is not very good marriage material. In her case she realized that when they were together, he was not satisfied, that he was unhappy and prone to affairs. But when she would leave him, he was beside himself with ooey gooey lovey dovey remorse, trying to woo her back. Most times she fell for the game and went back. But this card indicated that this man always wanted what he didn't have, so  he would constantly be the one longing for what was out beyond the walls of his life, not appreciating the wealth of love and happiness that was available to him right in his own home.

Maybe you are the one who is itching for adventure, unsatisfied with the life available to you. It seems that when you create something wonderful, for some reason, once you have it, you don't want it anymore. You can't put your finger on why but you are restless.

We all know people who are constantly in and out of relationships. Instead of looking at and appreciating the goodness in the people who are around them, they are constantly finding reasons why they need to look elsewhere, just in case there is someone out there who is "better" than the person they are already with.

Relationships take work. Let me encourage you that if your partner is not abusive and you cannot think of any reason why you are unhappy other than the fact that you are bored then you give it another try! Do something fun and adventurous together! Don't go looking elsewhere just yet!

On the one hand, the two of cups is enticing us to adventure! On the other hand, it is also asking us to appreciate what we already have in our hands! The man in this card is holding the world in his hands, but he is not satisfied. He has all of the things most of us long for: stability, wealth, security, and comfort. And yet there is something missing in his life. Is that missing piece a simple case of ingratitude to the Universe for what has already been provided? Or has he reached a stage in his life where he needs to let go of what he knows, and set out on something new and previously uncharted?

Only you can decide what this card means for you today.

Just for today, be thankful for all of the blessings in your life. Be present in the things you have already manifested. Look inside your heart to know if that twinge of unsettled longing is perhaps the call of Spirit to branch out into new territory, or if it is simply your own boredom causing you to forget the blessings that are right at your own fingertips.

Today's Message From the Tarot - Two of Cups

Today's card is the two of cups. This card is exactly what it looks like.  A man and  a woman are exchanging glances at one another while also reaching out their cups to one another.

Cups in the tarot symbolize relationships. In this card two people are on a level playing field. They are equals.  They are evenly exchanging looks, glances, conversation, and ideas. One is not more important than the other. The sky is blue and the landscape is lush and green. They are being watched over by a lion with wings called a caduceus and underneath the lion is a staff with two snakes entwined together.

The caduceus hanging over their head represents peace, harmony, balance, duality, and health. The intertwined snakes, not to be mistaken for the symbol of the medical profession which is one snake on a staff, reinforces the theme of give and take, equality, and relationship.

While this card may in many cases represent a love relationship, I think the more important theme is equality. How many times do we find ourselves in relationships that in one way or another are not equal? One person is dominating while the other is submissive. This card is recommending to us that we surround ourselves with others who look on us as equals, and that we see ourselves as persons worthy of being treated as equals.

Over the centuries women as a whole have not been treated on an equal playing field with men. When these cards were first painted, I am sure this was a controversial card. Nowadays we as women have come a long way in asserting our equality, and discovering the power of our femininity. Many of us have built in cell memories of submissiveness and have to remind ourselves to own our power.

Whether you are male or female, this card is reminding and urging you to treat others as equals. Whether it be your primary relationship, or a friendship or even a work relationship, why don't you try just for today to see everyone you meet as an equal? Yes, even the homeless person, the child, the disadvantaged. We who are spiritually minded sometimes tend to see those who are not so inclined as being "less" spiritual, even. Even the thought that humans are in some way dominant over the plant and animal kingdom needs to be rethought. There should be no dominant race, dominant religion, dominant species. Let us look on all others as our equals and seek to walk in someone else's shoes once in awhile, just to get a grasp on how someone else thinks.

When I was growing up, I thought that anyone that was not my religion would surely not make it into heaven. When I became a bit older, and somewhat disillusioned with my chosen faith, I chose to look into other belief systems and found that each of the ones I investigated had its own jewels of truth.

We all will have to admit that at one time or another, we have felt superior or inferior to someone else. Just for today, I challenge you to knock down those walls and begin to see yourself on an equal playing field with someone that you previously looked on with disdain. Look for the similarities between you and someone else, instead of the differences. You may be surprised that you are able to engage in an exchanging of ideas.

Let us lay down our prejudices and look on one another with love. We are all created equal.

Don't forget, if you are enjoying this week's messages from the tarot, I am offering a three part class on connecting with the tarot beginning this Saturday, January 11th, from 10-12 at the Mind, Body, and Soul Healing Center in Leesburg Virginia. Today's Message From the Tarot - Queen of Swords

Today's card is the Queen of Swords.

In this picture we see a queen in profile, looking off and beckoning to someone who we can't see. She is holding her sword upright and in front of her. The sky is blue, the landscape green and fertile. Her throne seems cold and hard, however, and the queen is not the lovey dovey ooey gooey Queens we see on other cards.

Swords traditionally have to do with words, communications, and of course, sometimes conflict. However, in this card, we do not sense any conflict at hand, based upon the serenity of the landscape and colorful sky laced with fluffy, cottonball clouds.  This woman is a woman who is master of her own domain. She is a woman who is comfortable in her own skin, but maybe just a tad in touch with her masculine side. You will not find this woman warm and cuddly, petting kitties and kissing frogs. She is a woman who is a force to be reckoned with, not afraid to express her opinion or pass judgement. Her judgements, however, are fairly thought through and carried out.

You may run into this card when you are having some issues with communications, letting you know that it is time to speak up. Perhaps you are doing some sort of writing or speaking, and this Queen is telling you that your words will be well received and will cut to the heart of the issues with which you are confronting.

If you are having some issues of some kind with communications, perhaps it might be a good idea to meditate with this card in your hand, asking for guidance as to the best possible words to come forth that might bless the most people and do the most good.

If you draw this card in conjunction with another card or in the midst of a spread, look at the card next to this one and pay attention to what she is looking at. What card shows up next to this one? This may show you what areas in your life perhaps you need to communicate more clearly and look at with fair judgement and objectivity.

If you are interested in learning more, you can sign up for my three part class on the tarot to be held in Leesburg Virginia beginning January 11th from 10 to 12. You can click HERE for more information, or to sign up and  prepay.

Just for today, pay attention to your words. Be concise and direct, and don't beat around the bush. Say what you need to say, without anger or passion. If you are a writer, then today is a good day to write. Watch your words! Today they have the power to move mountains!

Today's Message From the Tarot - Four of Pentacles

What do you think of when you see this card?

The obvious first thing you notice is that this man is holding on to his money.

In this particular version of the card this man looks a bit solemn, don't you think?

The sky is blue all around and the town that is shown in the background seems quiet. There is no apparent conflicts going on other than the one within his own mind.

As you have probably guessed, this card is all about money, and holding on to money. The man is holding on to what is his. Obviously this man has some sort of authority as he is wearing a crown of some sort but it looks like thoughts about money are hanging over his head. He holds his money close to his heart as well as under his feet. He is obviously not a destitute man, but perhaps the worries of money or finances of some sort have him in  a quandary. Perhaps he is wondering how to invest his money or is afraid of losing his money.

To me the symbolism of having coins or pentacles under his feet is talking about this man's path in life. Perhaps he is considering a new job or line of work. The decision has him at a standstill.

Perhaps someone has asked Spirit how they should be investing their money or whether or not they should venture out on a new line of employment. If you have asked Spirit any of these questions and happen to draw this card, perhaps you should hold your own for the time being. Don't make any rash decisions. Hold your ground. Don't go out on any spending sprees.

If you are considering moving money from one investment to another, then perhaps you should wait on that. Spirit is saying don't make any big moves in the area of finances right now.

This card does not indicate that there is financial ruin in your future. The sky is blue and the background is peaceful. Just don't make any rash moves.

It could indicate that you hold money a little too dear to your heart and the worry of it is hanging over your head. If this is the case, perhaps you should inquire what to do to rectify this situation.

As I previously mentioned, I will be teaching a three part series of classes beginning this Saturday, January 11th from 10 to 12 in Leesburg Virginia at the Mind Body and Soul Healing Center. You can click HERE to get more details or prepay for the class. I have limited availability but there is still room if you would like to sign up!!

Message for the Day from the Tarot - King of Wands

I guess I am not really surprised I drew this card today.

It is Sunday and my hubby love has had an obsession today with clearing the house of clutter and getting organized. (this is a good thing but not what I had in mind for today.)

This card depicts masculine energy at its finest: sitting on the throne, looking out upon an unknown scenery: his wand (which represents ideas, inspiration, creativity,) is budding and is firmly in his hand and resting on the ground in front of him. He is one who is truly in control. He has ideas in front of him.

There are a couple of interesting tidbits I notice here. One is the lizard on the ground in front of him, seemingly looking in the same direction as the king. What are they looking at?

Lizards, surprisingly enough, are symbolic of psychic awareness. They are small, but quick and hard to catch. I think the lizard is representing that sometimes the king might get so caught up in his grand ideas that he may have a tendency to alienate those around him. But he has a keen sense of what is really going on behind the scenes that other people may miss. His ideas come and go quickly and it is sometimes hard to keep up with him.

Do you know anyone like this? Is someone in your life coming up with a lot of great ideas and getting annoyed that you are not exactly on the same page as he is all the time? The king of wands may show up for you if you know someone like this, or if perhaps you are someone like this.

Just for today, think about the other people who may reside at your "castle". They may have ideas also and they may not exactly line up with yours. Be gentle with the other people in your life and present your ideas with tact and don't get annoyed when everything doesn't flow always like clockwork.

If the king of wands is someone else in your life, do what I do. I try to lay aside my agendas for a bit and help him with his. Eventually everything calms down and you can get back to what you were doing. Compromise is sometimes the name of the game. One day you may need him to get on board with your agenda and hopefully he will return the favor.

That being said, ridding the house of clutter is a good idea, and so now I think it is time to get on board with hubby love and get the energy in the house moving!

Message from the Tarot - Ten of Pentacles

In anticipation for a three part series of classes on the cards of the tarot, I thought I would post a few messages based on the cards prior to the class.

The cards of the tarot have been used for divination for thousands of years. There are well established and time proven symbolism in the cards, and then there is always personal symbolism that Spirit uses to give messages on an individual basis using the same cards.

When I first was led by Spirit to study the cards, I was taught the intuitive way, which to me is much easier. The goddess Isis came to me while in meditation and told me that she was going to teach me to read the cards. I didn't know who Isis was at the time, and I didn't know if she even knew anything about the cards. She has been with me ever since, giving me guidance and direction when I am using the cards.

When I choose a card, I like to look at the picture first and see what jumps out at me.

Today I have chosen the Ten of Pentacles.

In this picture there are pentacles, or coins, seemingly floating in the air around the scene of what appears to be a family. There is an elderly man, two dogs, a man, a woman and a child. Around there seems to be prosperity.  The older man seems to me to be wearing ornate robes, signifying wealth or prominence. He is petting his adoring dogs, and looking on at what I see as the next couple of generations engaged in conversation.

What jumps out at me at first glance are the pentacles, or coins, hanging out in the air around the picture. This signifies to me that there is money, wealth, or prosperity of some kind in the very air that these people are breathing. This does not necessarily mean that these people are rich, but it could be the case. To me this means that this family or grouping of individuals is full of prosperity. Prosperity could mean wealth, or it could mean that these people are rich with love, rich with knowledge, with happiness, or even spiritual wisdom. The man seems to be passing on to the next generation the wisdom and wealth he has accumulated.

Of course the personal meaning of this card is dependent on the person drawing the card and the particular question that person has in mind when connecting with this card, but this is a wonderful card. It signifies that someone has reached the point in their life where they have achieved a sort of status or satisfaction in their life to the point where they are ready to hand the baton to the next generation. The older man is sitting in satisfaction of all he has accumulated, and is ready to pass his knowledge and his wealth over to his family or the next of kin.

Are you the person who has reached the point in your life where you are ready to give back? Are you grateful to the Universe for all you have received, and are eager to pass the baton on the next generation? This card may be for  you.

Perhaps you are the man or the woman or even the child in the picture. This card could signify an inheritance coming your way, or perhaps a generous relative or benefactor coming to pass on to you wealth of some kind. It may not be money. It may be knowledge. It may be that you will get a job from someone who is retiring or moving on.

Depending on the intention of your heart and your question posed of the cards, this card could have various meanings, but this is a good card. Either you are in a position to pass on your knowledge or wealth or some valuable commodity to the next generation, or you are about to be the recipient of such a benefactor. Look around you.

I read this the other day and it resonates with this card.

What you are ready for will come.

Are you ready?

If you are in the Leesburg, Virginia area and would like to attend my three part course on the cards of the tarot, click here to get more information on times, dates and to prepay by pay pal for the classes.

My take on this card for today is that even the air that we breathe is dripping with treasure! We only have to notice it, and accept the riches that lie within it.  If we realize that the treasure really lies within our souls, then it will begin to dawn on us that anything we desire is completely within our reach. It is as close as the air around us and it truly dwells within us.

Just for today, notice the treasure that lies around you: in your family, the wisdom of your elders, your children, and the legacy that has been passed down throughout the generations. If your heritage seems less than bountiful, take heart! We all have benefactors, possibly not blood relatives, but mentors and teachers that have been and are available if we only notice them! The treasure truly lies within us and all around us! We are so blessed!

Goodbye to the Old, Hello to the New!

Yes, I am going to add my thoughts to the thousands of others out there encouraging you to let go of 2013 and all the things that did not serve you as you welcome in this New Year.

However, I also think it is a good time to be thankful for all of those memorable events of the past year. Whether you look back at 2013 as a wonderful year or a challenging one, I am sure it is safe to say that you, like me, had a mix of both!

At the beginning of the year, Spirit told me that this was to be my year to embrace my power. This did not mean that I was going to lord it over others or flex my spiritual superhero muscles or even save the world. I learned over the course of the year that this meant that this was the year to start having faith in myself, and confidence in my purpose and calling.

I experienced a wonderful few days at my first "event" in New York where I gave mini ten minute readings back to back all day.

I expanded my monthly classes to include a second location in the neighboring town of Leesburg.

I welcomed new healers into the world in my first Reiki I class after becoming a Reiki Master.

I had the privilege of joining a record number of couples into wedded bliss!

When a part time position became available at the Post Office, I bravely bid on and was awarded the position to give me more time to do my weddings and spiritual work. This was a huge step for me, to surrender a portion of my income that is set and always there to jump into the unknown of at least partial self employment!

I began writing my second book, which I have been avoiding for at least two years now, due to fear of how it would be received by people who have known me in my past and even in my present. There are things in this book I have never told anyone!

I was so privileged to attend a week long mediumship training class with amazing mediums John Holland and Janet Nohovac. I learned so much in this intensive week that really honed in my gift and boosted my confidence in this area of my giftings.

I am so thankful for each of these experiences and hope to carry them into the next year as I invite Spirit to be an even more present force in my day to day walk of service. My only request of Spirit is that I be allowed to be of service to others while also making sure that I don't overextend myself to the point of not enjoying my life.

If you are in a place of desiring to be of service to Spirit or in any way compelled to make your part of the world a better place, you may notice that you sometimes put yourself last on the list. For me there is always a blog to write, a class to prepare for, a chapter in my book to tweak, a soul to help. This is good. But sometimes I look back and realize that I am not having any fun! Oh yes, serving Spirit is fun in itself. But sometimes I need to put on my joy hat and just go out for a run or take a hike outdoors or maybe even go shopping!

If you are even reading my blogs then I bet you are someone who has a desire to be of service to Spirit in some way, or you are curious at least about your spiritual side.

Let me encourage you to have balance in your quest for enlightenment. We are here to make the world a better place, but sometimes we take ourselves too seriously! Serving Spirit should mean  doing those things that make your heart sing and your inner self dance a jig! If it doesn't give you joy, then maybe it is time to rethink something! Take a break!

One of my intentions for the coming year is to laugh more. To spend more time in nature. To soak in life here in this planet. To love more.

Sometimes the best resolutions are ones that are easy to keep. Sure I would like to give up some of those things that are not good for me, but for now, I just want to do what makes me happy. I encourage you to do the same.

Yes, I still want to be of service. Some of my most incredible joy comes when I give a message from Spirit to someone that delights them, heals them, or in some way makes them feel better than before.
When I attune someone to Reiki it is such an incredible surge of joy that it is indescribable.

So yes, seek Spirit. Explore your spiritual side. But if your spiritual practice is not giving you joy, then maybe you should try something else. Take lots of breaks. Laugh a lot. Go out with your friends and family and treasure the experiences that make you laugh.

This is my sincerest wish that you may find 2014 the year when you discovered a new depth of joy that you never knew was possible. When you healed from your past hurts. When you forgave those who in some way challenged or offended you. When you learned to accept others who do not see life or God or the world in the same way that you do. When you stopped being afraid.

Remember that you can't be full of love and full of fear at the same time. You can't be full of joy and depressed at the same time. Go for the joy. Go for the love. Let go of everything else.

And so it is.
